(SDGs), which include three goals closely related to corporate sustainability, an area of recent advocacy within our department. These goals are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth: Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment, and decent work for all individuals.<\/p>\n<p>Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.<\/p>\n<p>Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, promote a green economy.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate sustainability involves businesses striving for development while considering three dimensions: environmental, social, and economic. In recent years, in line with the global trend of sustainable development, many large corporations have established positions such as sustainability officers, sustainability experts, and sustainability consultants. It has more 45 years of history until now. Currently, there are four classes in each grade. All together there are sixteen classes and almost 1000 students in the department.<\/p>\n<p>The freshmen registration rate is more than 98% in recent three years. The teaching performance has been widely recognized.<\/p>\n<p>Following the government\u2019s authorization to establish the College of Business in 1980, the university, continued to devote in promoting the research education. Thus, in 1983 it created the Graduate School of Business Administration master program. It is one of the best MBA postgraduate degrees with the longest history in Taiwan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><footer style='background-color:#f3c317; ' class='entry-footer'><\/footer><\/article><\/li>\n<li class='av-milestone av-animated-generic fade-in av-milestone-even '><h2 class='av-milestone-date'  id='milestone-'><strong><span class='av-milestone-indicator'style='background-color:#f3c317; '><\/span><\/strong><\/h2><div class=\"av-milestone-icon-wrap\"><span class='milestone_icon milestone-icon-hasborder avia-font-entypo-fontello' style='background-color:#f3c317; '><span class='milestone_inner' style='background-color:#f3c317; color:#ffffff; '><i class='milestone-char' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='\ue841' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello'><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/div><article class='av-milestone-content-wrap'><div class='av-milestone-contentbox' ><div class='av-milestone-content' ><p><strong style=\"font-size: 2.5em;\">S<\/strong>ince 2005, the department has also been approved to provide the PhD degree in Business Administration.<\/p>\n<p>To uphold the \u201cholistic education and lifetime learning\u201d philosophy,<\/p>\n<p>The department had in 1999 launched the Executive Postgraduate degree (EMBA), which provides business executives a retraining opportunity, and a close-knit exchange and cooperation between the industry and the academic sector. 60 professional executives register for the postgraduate study. The department has started the extension course for Business Managers with the center for Continuing Education. The students who pass the program will possess a certificate of credits issued by our school.
